Ekspres Timuran train service to be delayed for two hours - KTMB
For Ekspres Timuran No.27 (Tumpat-Johor Bahru Sentral), the service will start from Gua Musang station and passengers can continue their journey to Johor Bahru Sentral by train. - Filepic
The Ekspres Timuran is expected to be delayed for more than two hours following flooding and landslide at KM392.5 between Bukit Abu-Dabong in Kuala Krai, Kelantan, yesterday.
Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) Corporate Communications manager, Siti Badariah Wan Hanafi said affected passengers can claim a refund or reschedule their trip.
"Work to repair the tracks are currently underway," she said in a statement here, today.
For Ekspres Timuran No.26 (Johor Bahru Sentral-Tumpat), the train service is only available to the Gua Musang station and passengers can travel from Gua Musang to Kuala Krai, Tanah Merah, Pasir Mas, Wakaf Bharu and Tumpat by buses provided by KTMB, she said.
For Ekspres Timuran No.27 (Tumpat-Johor Bahru Sentral), the service will start from Gua Musang station and passengers can continue their journey to Johor Bahru Sentral by train.
Siti Badariah said all train services between Kuala Krai-Gua Musang-Kuala Krai will remain suspended until further notice.
