Elderly man found dead on five-foot way believed murdered

An elderly man who was found dead on the five-foot way of a shop near Jalan Stesen, Kluang today is believed to have been murdered.

Kluang acting police DSP Mohd Noor Mohamad said the man was believed to be in his late 60s and had no identification papers on him.

"The man's body was found on the pathway by members of the public at 6am and they informed the police.

"Initial investigations found injuries on the victim's head," he said when contacted, Friday.

Mohd Noor said the body was sent to the Enche' Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital in Kluang for an autopsy.
