Elderly woman found dead in Ampang

An elderly woman was found dead with both her earlobes severed in her bathroom at Taman Dato Ahmad Razali, here today.
Saliha Sheikh Mohamad, in her 70s, was believed to have been robbed as her gold necklace and earrings were missing.
According to her daughter-in-law, Norizan Jaafar, 41, Saliha's body was found by a university student, who rented a room in the house.
Norizan said Saliha, who hailed from Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, was living with her tenant, while her six children lived separately.
Ampang police chief ACP Hamzah Alias, when contacted confirmed receiving the report on the incident, saying that the case was being investigated.
