Consumers are advised to take precautionary measures and to emphasise aspect on electrical safety when celebrating Aidilfitri.
Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) senior general manager (Corporate Affairs and Communication) Datuk Mohd Aminuddin Mohd Amin said consumers should not overload the socket with too many adapters to avoid overheating and possibly caused electricity supply disruption.
"To avoid any untoward incidents during the festive season, consumers are advised to exercise caution when using electrical appliances.
"Avoid making extensions on your own, but to seek the service of registered electrical contractors," he said in a statement here.
