EMCO in eight areas ends yesterday, today and tomorrow

The Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) enforced in eight areas have either ended or coming to an end yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that out of the total, six have ended yesterday involving the Tahfiz An-Nabawiyyah area and a house in Batu 23, Kampung Sungai Lui, Hulu Langat, City One Tower, Malayan Mansion, Selangor Mansion and surrounding area of Jalan Masjid India, Kuala Lumpur.
In addition, he said, the EMCO in Selayang Baru involving Parcel A and B were also terminated yesterday.
"The EMCO at Pusat Bandar Utara, Kuala Lumpur, Parcel A dan B, covering the Jalan 6/3A dan 9/3A, Pusat Bandar Utara Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Lumpur Wholesale Market will end today.
"However, the EMCO involving other parcels in the Pusat Bandar Utara, Kuala Lumpur and Selayang Baru areas will be extended until May 12," he said in a daily press conference here on Monday.
On the other hand, Ismail Sabri reiterated that the implementation of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) would focus on enforcement of compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP).
"Some sectors of the economy are allowed to start operations starting today under the CMCO and enforcement is focused on aspects of SOP compliance," he added.
