SEGAMAT: Kakak kepada mangsa yang maut dalam kemalangan melibatkan enam sekeluarga di Kilometer 5, Jalan Segamat-Kuantan, di sini petang semalam tidak menyangka pertemuan mereka pada majlis perkahwinan adik bongsu minggu lalu, menjadi detik terakhir mereka berkumpul.
Norhayati Noor Muhammad, 51, berkata, dia menerima khabar duka melibatkan nahas jalan raya melibatkan adik perempuannya bersama suami dan empat anak mereka menerusi pesanan WhatsApp yang dikirimkan oleh saksi kejadian menggunakan telefon bimbit anak saudaranya yang turut terlibat dalam nahas itu sebelum bertindak menghubungi pihak polis.
“Pada awalnya saya terima pesanan WhatsApp daripada orang ramai yang berada di lokasi kejadian itu yang menggunakan telefon bimbit anak saudara saya sebelum mulanya saya terus hubungi nombor itu.
“Individu itu kemudian meminta saya hubungi pihak polis dan apabila saya bertanya lanjut kepada pihak polis tentang kejadian itu, memang saya pasti kereta itu milik keluarga adik perempuan saya,” katanya ketika di temui di pekarangan Jabatan Perubatan Forensik Hospital Segamat, di sini.
Terdahulu, dalam kejadian kira-kira pukul 6.37 petang semalam, mangsa Norahimah Noor Muhammad, 43, bersama suami Amir Ruddin Ismail, 46, dan empat anak mereka Fatimahtulzahrah, 17; Seri Khadijah Aqilah, 13; Rufaidatul Asyariyah, 10, dan Muhammad Assyakrawi, 5, maut dalam kemalangan selepas kenaikan dinaiki mereka bertembung dengan sebuah lori membawa muatan pasir.
Dalam kejadian itu, seorang lagi anak mereka, Abdullah, 15, sedang menerima rawatan lanjut di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU) Hospital Segamat akibat kecederaan parah di bahagian kepala, usus dan paru-paru.
Mengulas lanjut, ujar Norhayati, adiknya sekeluarga difahamkan dalam perjalanan pulang ke rumah mereka di Segamat dari rumah suaminya di Kluang memandangkan mereka tinggal berjauhan berikutan suaminya bertugas sebagai Imam Eksekutif di Ladang Tereh Utara, Kluang manakala adiknya merupakan guru di Sekolah Agama Kemedak, Segamat.
“Dalam perjalanan itu, anak sulung mereka tidak ikut pulang ke Segamat kerana dia menetap di Kluang juga. Tetapi ini memang satu sejarah besar buat keluarga kami kerana sebelum ini kami hanya melihat kejadian sebegini dalam berita sahaja.
“Kali terakhir kami semua berkumpul adalah pada Ahad lepas kerana majlis perkahwinan adik bongsu kami di rumah ibu di Parit Jawa Muar dan arwah yang merupakan anak ketiga dalam adik beradik ada maklumkan Sabtu ini (hari ini) akan balik lagi, rupanya dia balik selama-lamanya,”katanya sambil menyeka air mata.
Tambah Norhayati yang juga guru sekolah agama di Tangkak, Johor, jenazah adiknya enam sekeluarga itu akan dikebumikan dalam satu liang lahad di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Ubudiyyah, Parit Jawa, Muar, selepas selesai proses bedah siasat.
