Engine failure forces MH148 to make emergency landing

A Malaysian Airlines (MAS) plane made an emergency landing at Melbourne airport following engine failure shortly after take-off.
The MH148, bound to Kuala Lumpur, appeared to circle the airport a number of times before landing.
There were 300 people onboard the plane, MAS said in a statement.
The matter was confirmed by MAS who said the aircraft is being grounded for investigation.
The Melbourne Airport had on Twitter, said operations at the airport continue as usual.
