EPF declares dividend of 6.1 pct for conventional savings, 5.65 pct for shariah for 2021

KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has declared a dividend rate of 6.10 per cent for conventional savings for 2021 with a total payout of RM50.45 billion, surpassing the the 5.45 per cent dividend declared during the pre-pandemic year of 2019.
Chief executive officer Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan also announced a 5.65 per cent dividend for Simpanan Shariah, with total payout of RM6.27 billion for 2021, beating the 5.0 per cent dividend recorded in 2019.
This brings the total payout amount for 2021 to RM56.72 billion.
