Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim said suspects will be picked up based on an on-going investigation and recent developments over the smuggling case.
Police does not deny the possibility that more Customs officers will be picked up following the arrest of six Customs officers allegedly having links with members of secret societies that smuggle drugs into the country.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim said suspects will be picked up based on an on-going investigation and recent developments over the smuggling case.
"We do not deny that more arrests will be made based on current investigation. Give us time. We have been investigating activities at Kuala Lumpur International Airport which involves several officers from a government agency.
"We found that these officers are involved in the activities of bringing in drugs from abroad," he said after launching the PDRM Green Day 2017 celebration here, on Saturday.
He said the involvement of the Customs officers had made it easier for the secret society groups to smuggle drugs into the country.
It was reported that police arrested six Customs officers at the KLIA by the Federal Police's Criminal Investigation Department team.
