Extended remand for main suspect in Hussain Najadi's murder

The remand on the main suspect in the murder of Arab-Malaysian Banking Group founder has been extended for another seven days beginning tomorrow.
Kuala Lumpur CID deputy chief ACP Khairy Ahrasa said it was to enable the police to conduct a detailed investigation on the motive of the murder before charging the alleged culprit in court.
The suspect aged 44 was detained with two companions in a 12.30 am raid last Sunday at a house in Taiping, Perak.
In the July 29 incident, Hussain Ahmad Najadi, 75, was shot dead after visiting the Kuan Yin Temple in Lorong Ceylon in the capital.
