Police have arrested Facebook user ‘Catt Ginger ‘for allegedly insulting Yang DiPertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V.
Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, confirmed the arrest on his official Twitter account.

In the post, the owner of the FB account had insulted the King by uploading a rude and edited image of the Yang DiPertuan Agong.
The Facebook user also posted a ‘Selamat Hari Raya’ greeting on June 25, which was the first day Muslims celebrated Aidilfitri.
However, the individual was understood to have posted a statement on his FB page on July 1 denying the allegations and said that he would lodge a police report and also to Malaysian Communications And Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
