Factory worker charged with raping own mother in Taiping
The offence under Section 376B of the Penal Code, provides a maximum jail sentence of 30 years and whipping.
A 19-year-old factory worker was charged at the Taiping Sessions Court today with raping his own biological mother.
Muhammad Ridhuan Ismail, 19, was accused of committing the offence at his home in Kamunting about 7pm on March 8.
He claimed trial to the charge.
Judge Mohd Sabri Ismail allowed RM8,000 bail with one surety.
The case has been fixed for mention on Apr 21.
Muhammad Ridhuan was represented by counsel M. Kathan.
