Faizal Azumu appointed special advisor to PM with ministerial status

KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu has been appointed as Special Advisor to Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin with ministerial status.
The Prime Minister's Office, in a statement today, announced that the Tambun MP and former Perak Menteri Besar will be responsible for advising the Prime Minister on matters of community networking, communications and socio-economic development.
"The office congratulates him on this appointment," read the statement today.
