KUALA LUMPUR:Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu is scheduled to have an audience with the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah this afternoon.
He confirmed the matter in an interview with Astro AWANI just now.
Meanwhile, in a related development, sources informed Astro AWANI that the Perak State Assembly (DUN) Speaker, Datuk Mohamad Zahir Abdul Khalid, will also have an audience with the Sultan of Perak at Istana Kinta, Ipoh.
Mohamad Zahir is scheduled to present information and the results of the vote of confidence in Ahmad Faizal which was decided in the DUN sitting this morning.
"The audience is scheduled to take place at 5 pm at Istana Kinta in Ipoh," a source told Astro AWANI.
The media was informed that any statement from Istana Kinta will only be issued after the audience.
