The Negeri Sembilan Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) will hold a two-day 'Mantai Ramadan' starting Monday at the community and caravan community market (PAKAR) in Paroi, KM12, Jalan Seremban-Kuala Pilah near here.
'Mantai' is from the Negeri Sembilan dialect which means the preparation of butchered meat on the eve of Ramadan or Syawal.
FAMA director A. Rahaman Suleiman said the event would offer beef at a special price of RM3 per kilogramme while stocks last, which was much lower than the market price.
"The Mantai Ramadan will be from 4 pm until 11 pm," he said here today.
He said FAMA was organising the Ramadan Bazaar at the same time and location throughout the month from July 10 to Aug 7.
There will be also be a special pre-Ramadan farmers market at the new Pasar Tani 4th Mile, Port Dickson on Tuesday July 9 from 8 am, he added.
