Muhammad Syukur said for almost four years they often spent time together and Semek was also used in the filming of the telemovie Budok Kuba recently.
"No more playful Semek action. No one will accompany me for filming after this."
This was among the expressions of Muhammad Syukur Khamis, also known as Mowgli Malaysia, after his beloved buffalo died this morning, believed to be due to hemorrhoids or Heamoragic Septicaemia.
As of this morning, the total number of buffalo deaths recorded was 50.
The 15-year-old student said that despite having a few more beloved buffaloes, Semek was one of his closest and playful pets.
He said he was still shocked by Semek's death because before this it showed no signs of being attacked by a bloody blight.
According to Muhammad Syukur, for almost four years they often spent time together and Semek was also used in the filming of the telemovie ‘Budok Kuba’ recently.
"I got here earlier at 7 o'clock. I think Semek just died because the body is still warm. Usually, in the evening, I always play with Semek.
"But yesterday I did not have time to play with Semek because I was busy managing the dead buffaloes," he said when met by Astro AWANI in his barn today.
Muhammad Syukur said his acting with Semek became the last sweet memory between them.
"During the filming, when told to sleep, he sleeps. It is easier to obey instructions than others," he added.
On Monday, more than 35 buffaloes belonging to Muhammad Syukur's family were found dead in a barn in Kampung Kubang Bujuk, here.
