Fast food outlet worker gets one day prison for superman antics
Based on the facts of the case, Abu Bakar was intercepted riding a Yamaha FZ150 without a crash helmet at high speed while performing 'superman' antics, by police conducting an operation, 'Ops Samseng'. - Filepic
A fast food restaurant worker was sentenced to a day in prison and fined RM5,500 or another three months in jail by the Magistrate's Court here for riding his motorcycle in a dangerous manner.
Abu Bakar Kamaruzzaman, 18, admitted before magistrate Noorul Fhaiez Mohd Nayan to committing the offence along Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway between 2am and 2.10am on June 9.
The court also revoked his probation licence and ban him from obtaining a licence for two years.
Based on the facts of the case, Abu Bakar was intercepted riding a Yamaha FZ150 without a crash helmet at high speed while performing 'superman' antics, by police conducting an operation, 'Ops Samseng'.
Meanwhile, a taxi driver, P. Rajandran, 56, was fined RM300 or one month in jail for making an illegal 'U' turn at Jalan Changkat Tamby Dollah here at 8.54am on Jan 27.
Insp Hashimah Hashim appeared for the prosecution.
