Fatal accident: Hall's family to arrive on Sunday
The body of Simon John Hall, one of six people who were burnt to death in a horrific accident at the Kampung Pandan roundabout here yesterday, will be claimed by his family this Sunday.
Kuala Lumpur traffic police investigating officer Insp Azizah Nur Muhamat said they had asked the British High Commission here to relay the sad news to Hall's family.
"They are expected to arrive in the country from Britain this Sunday to claim his body," she said when contacted by Bernama today.
In the 12.45am incident, Hall, 40, a manager with Leighton Offshore here, three Filipino women, Siso Aileen, 30, Maileen Tentative Montejo, 26, and Mary Grace Macaraig, 24, and two Myanmar nationals, Pi Pi, 20, and Esther Sui, 26, were killed when the Nissan Skyline car they were in crashed into a pillar at the roundabout and caught fire.
Initial police investigations found the car, driven by Hall, had been speeding.
