Fatalities at Mount Kinabalu following quake - Masidi Manjun

Another 104 stranded climbers were being brought down by rescue teams from Laban Rata, said Sabah Park personnel Justinus Guntabid.

Justinus said all of them were brought down at 9.15pm, Friday.

"At 10.04pm, the last rescue team brought down another victim (climber) who was in stable condition.

Now, our personnel are still in Pondok Timpohon to wait for other climbers making their way down," he said when met at the Rescue Operations Room in Sabah Park here. 

Justinus said their employees were recording climbers who have reached Pondok Timpohon to facilitate the park identify climbers who have yet to be brought down. 

Asked on the two bodies brought down to Pondok Timpohon, Justinus said the park had been informed of the matter.

He said one of them was Robbi Sapinggi, a mountain guide while another body had yet to be identified. 
The park will be leaving the matter to the police.

Both bodies were brought down at about 8.25pm and 8.45pm from the rock fall site about 6.5 kilometres from Pondok Timpohon.
