Father and daughter die in accident at NPE

A man and his daughter died in an accident which saw their car crashing into the road divider at KM15.6 of the New Pantai Expressway (NPE), at 3.03pm, Sunday.

Kuala Lumpur traffic chief ACP Mohd Nadzri Hussain said the driver of the car, Jein Siung Lee, 36, died on the spot while his daughter Lee Tung, three, who was severely injured, died at the University Malaya Medical Centre.

Another of daughter of Jein, Lee Ming, four suffered minor injuries while his mother-in-law, Bong Shui Chin @ Bong Soon Chin, 64, who broke her right arm, are being treated at the same hospital.

The victims were believed to be on heading from SS2, Petaling Jaya towards their home in Kuchai Lama, Mohd Nadzri said in a statement here Sunday.
