A man and his two daughters drowned while bathing at Kampung Tempios waterfall, Sungai Nunuk Ragang, in Ranau today.
The deceased were identified as Josep Jami, 44, and his daughters Esmerelbe Gene Josep, 20, and Eheishia Gene Josep, eight.
The operation centre of the Sabah Fire and Rescue Department in a statement said the bodies were retrieved by the public.
The department received a distress call at 1.02pm and arrived at the scene, which was located 52km from a station, at 3.05pm. -- BERNAMA
