The father of a 13-year-old teenager, who was last seen leaving in a taxi with an unknown male in Pantai Johor, has urged his daughter to return home.
Samsun Majdi Awang, 51, from Lorong Padi Emas, Pantai Johor near here had lodged a police report after his daughter Nur Qairunnisa Samsun Majdi, 13, did not return home since June 3, after leaving the house at 4pm.
Samsun's mother Saadah Ali, 74, said at 4pm on June 3, Nur Qairunnisa had informed her that she was going to her friends house but did not return home.
"She had told her grandmother that see was going to see a friend nearby but she did not come back. I started searching for her at 7.30pm and my friend told me that he had seen my daughter taking a taxi.
"I was told that apart from the taxi driver there was another man. I had looked for her in her friends house but she is not there. At 9pm I lodged a police report at the Alor Setar police station," Samsun told reporters here Thursday.
Samsun said he had tried to contact his daughter who is a student at SMK Alor Merah, several times via her mobile phone but to no avail.
"The phone is ringing but she did not answer my calls. Maybe the person who took her away is preventing her from answering the phone," he said.
He urged anyone with information to contact 019-4629827 or the nearest police station.
