Fauzi was commissioned by the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia to fill the post until a suitable replacement is found.
National Film Development Corporation Malayisa (FINAS) deputy director-general (Production and Communication) Datuk Fauzi Ayob will be the agency's acting director-general with effect from Nov 14.
FINAS in a statement today said Fauzi was commissioned by the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia to fill the post until a suitable replacement is found.
Former director general, Datuk Kamil Othman ended his term on Nov 9 after holding the post since 2014 to fill the vacancy left by Raja Rozaimi Dalnish Shah, who retired. -- BERNAMA
