FBM KLCI futures mostly lower at opening

KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI futures contract (FKLI) on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly lower Wednesday.
At 9.15 am, spot month March 2021 slipped 5.5 points to 1,618.0, April 2021 eased 3.5 points to 1,613.5, June 2021 was untraded, and September 2021 reduced 2.5 points to 1,600.0.
Turnover stood at 885 lots, with open interest at 41,745 contracts.
The benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI dropped 0.08 of-a-points to 1,623.88.
