Feb 16 for case management of guard charged with murdering Form Five student

The Sessions Court here today set Feb 16 for management of a case involving a security guard charged with the murder of a Form Five female student.
Judge Sitarun Nisa Abdul Aziz fixed the date after deputy public prosecutor Shafiq Mahadi informed the court that the post mortem report on the victim was still not ready.
On Nov 6 last year, Tarmizi Yaakob, 20, was charged in the Magistrate's Court here with the murder of Intan Suraya Mawardi, 17, in a house at Block 5-1-18 Flat Bandar Baru Perda, Teluk Kumbar near here between 7.30 am and 7.30 pm on Oct 25 last year.
The charge, under Section 302 of the Penal Code, carries the mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
