The Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) signed a Corruption Free Pledge (IBR) to ensure the agency is free from corruption.
Felda, in a statement, said that the IBR emphasised on pledges made by the leadership of the organisation and its personnel to ensure individuals who signed it are more responsible and refrained from any act of corruption.
"In addition, it aims to instill hatred of corruption among members of the organisation and indirectly to ensure that the crime will not be committed in Felda," the statement said.
The statement also said the pledge was led by Felda deputy director-general (Economic Development) Ab Ghani Mohd Ali and involved all members of Felda Board of Directors, senior management and officers in the organisation.
Present to witness the signing of the pledge were Felda chairman Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Datuk Dzulkifli Ahmad.
