The Special Ministers' Meeting on Wednesday agreed to allow filming activities to be carried out during the period of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
However, Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob insisted, that the permission was "opened" on condition that the filming crew had to comply with the standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the National Security Council (MKN) and the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MoH).
He also explained that filming was only allowed after the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festival and so far all filming including live performances involving viewers has not been allowed.
Here are the SOP's to follow before shooting:
1. Meetings and auditions are conducted online.
2. Provide travel records of all production personnel and artists for the four weeks prior to filming.
3. Ensure no more than 20 people are involved in each shooting session.
4. Production companies need to appoint a safety supervisor to ensure SOP compliance at all stages of production.
5. Buffet services for staff and artists are not allowed and food must be served individually packed.
6. The hairdresser and makeup artist need to use face shields and ensure that each artiste's hands are cleaned before and after the makeup.
