Fire breaks out at two-storey hostel in Kuantan
The cause of the fire and the losses are still under investigation.
A two-storey hostel building of Islam Annur Education Center in Jalan Kampung Pantai Sepat-Kampung Kuala Penor, caught fire at about 8pm last night.
Pahang Fire and Rescue Department public relations officer Anuar Hassan said there were no casualties reported as all the occupants managed to flee.
"The department received a call at 8.11pm and two trucks and a tanker were rushed to the scene along with 18 members," he told reporters here.
The cause of the fire and the losses are still under investigation.
