Fireman's body found floating at Kampung Buntal beach

The body of a fireman was found floating about 60 metres from the Kampung Buntal beach, around 20km from here, last night.
A fire department spokesman said, the victim, Mon Jumat, 48, who was attached with a fire station here was on leave, and it was reported that he did not return home after going sea fishing by himself at 2pm yesterday.
He added seven firemen rushed to the scene after receiving the report at 11.10pm, before Mon's body was discovered by fishermen and villagers in the middle of the night.
"The body was taken to Sarawak General Hospital here for identification and post-mortem," he said in a WhatsApp message.
He said the deceased left behind a wife and two children.
