It was a poignant moment at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport as the first batch of 407 Malaysian pilgrims arrived from the King Abdul Aziz International Airport Jeddah via Saudi Airlines Flight SV5701, here last night.
They were greeted by family members who waited at the arrival hall since 7pm.
Also present was Tabung Haji chairman, Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim and other TH officials.
He also said a total of 68 flights would bring home a total of 25,087 Malaysian pilgrims including 2,785 last-minute pilgrims beginning today until Oct 28, of which 43 are by Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) and the rest by Saudi Airlines.
