"I am not going home until my father is found," said Che Arisya Qistina, 11, daughter of a fisherman involved in a boat tragedy in Kuala Dungun, here.
She said she would not leave the beach and had informed her teacher of her absence from school as she was following the developments of the search for her father, Che Mohd Afendi Che Ismail.
The Year Five pupil of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Che Latiff, Kelantan said the last time she met her father was about a month ago.
"We are very close although we do not meet often and can only be together when I visit Besut," she said, adding that her parents had divorced.

The victims still missing are Che Mohd Afendi, 34, Mohamad Zawawi Mohamed, 27, and Abdul Wahab Zakaria, 44.
Another victim, Mohd Shahrin Yaccob, 33, managed to swim for three hours to shore while the body of his elder brother, Mohd Nazri Yaccob, 37 was found about 8.50am on Friday.
