KUALA LUMPUR:A total of 42 individuals were arrested for gambling offences during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, Senior Minister (Defence Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said.
In a media statement, Ismail Sabri explained that 467 of the 517 individuals detained were compounded while 50 others remanded.

1) 517 individuals were detained for disobeying MCO instructions, 467 individuals were compounded while 50 others remanded.
2) Ops Benteng has successfully detained 51 illegal immigrants (PATI), 2 smugglers and seized 3 boats / ships and 3 land vehicles.
3) 274 Ops Benteng roadblocks were conducted.
4) 69,443 individuals who returned to Malaysia were placed in 69 hotels and 22 Public Training Institutes.
5) KPDNEHP has also conducted 1,376 special MCO SOP compliance inspections.
