KUALA LUMPUR:Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) in several areas in Penang and Sabah have been extended for another 14 days, including new areas subject to EMCO directives.
The following are the main focus from today's press conference of the Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob::
1) 315 individuals were detained for disobeying MCO directives.
2) EMCO at Seberang Perai Prison and Penang Seberang Perai Prison Housing Quarters is extended for 14 days starting Nov 19.
3) EMCO at Tawau Temporary Detention Centre, Sandakan Prison and Taman Wira Prison Quarters, Sandakan is extended for 14 days starting Nov 20.
4) EMCO in Zone B and Zone C area of Taman Meru 2C Ipoh, Kg. Nahaba and Kg. Tegudon, Kota Belud starting Nov 20.
5) Ops Benteng has detained a total of 17 illegal immigrants (PATI), a skipper and seized six vehicles.
