Five main focus of Ismail Sabri's media statement today

KUALA LUMPUR: Its been nine months or 270 days since the Movement Control Order (MCO) and there are still members of the public who commit the offense of not wearing face masks while in public places.
Senior Defense Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) compounded 77 individuals for the offense in an enforcement operation on Friday.
Here are five important points from Ismail Sabri's statement on Saturday, 12 December 2020:
1) PDRM detained 241 individuals for disobeying the directives of the MCO with 202 individuals compounded while 39 individuals were remanded.
2) MCO violation offenses include failing to provide proper equipment to record customer details (78), not wearing face mask (77) and failing to comply with social distancing instructions (43).
3) 51 illegal immigrants (PATI), 1 tekong were detained during Op Benteng, six land vehicles and two boats / ships were seized.
4) A total of 39 sanitation operations in 11 Red Zones, 3 Orange Zones, 10 Yellow Zones and 5 Green Zones involving 11 states were carried out yesterday.
5) As of December 11, a total of 12,827 individuals from abroad are undergoing mandatory quarantine while 543 individuals have been sent to hospitals for treatment.
