Five men charged with murder of plantation worker
Magistrate M. Mageshwary set Dec 11 for mention of the case.
Five men were charged today in the Magistrate's Court here with the murder of a plantation worker last month.
M. Arumugam, 40, S. Guna Singam, 30, M. Yogeswaran, 29, M. Ramesh, 38, and M. Ranjanan, 35, nodded to indicate they understood the charge that was read out to them, and pleaded not guilty.
They are accused of having murdered V. Muniandy, 19, at Ladang Tanah Merah, Chuah, Port Dickson, between 4.15 pm and 4.30 pm on Oct 25.
Magistrate M. Mageshwary set Dec 11 for mention of the case.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Suhaili Sapun appeared for the prosecution.
