Five NGOs got together Saturday and organised a peaceful demonstration to protest against the Zionist atrocities against the Palestinians in Gaza.
The protest, held along the Middle Ring Road 2 in Gombak here, involved the participation of more than 200 members from the organisations, comprising Inspirasi Melayu Gombak (Impak), Gabungan NGO 1Malaysia, Persatuan Anak Jati Gombak (Paja), Sahabat Ulul Amri and the 1Malaysia Women Club.
They gathered there for about an hour while chanting words of protest against the Israeli attacks.
They also distributed car stickers, with words "Boikot Penyokong Zionis" (Boycott Zionist Supporters), to motorists.
Impak president Zul Azhari Mohamed Juah said despite being from small NGOs, their spirit to help the Palestinians remained strong.
Since the attack by Israel in Gaza last July 8, almost 2,000 Palestinian people had been killed.
