Flash flood in Taman Maluri caused major traffic congestion

Heavy rains in Kuala Lumpur in the afternoon today has caused a flash flood in Taman Maluri, Cheras.
Many city residents who were stranded due to the increased water level in the area had also managed to upload some pictures of the situation on Twitter.
The flood has caused severe traffic congestion in the area until forcing road user to make U-turns to avoid being stuck in a jam.
Based on the images sent through Twitter, water was also seen entering the parking space in buildings.
