Flood: 129 victims evacuated to two PPS in Gua Musang

KOTA BHARU: Continuous heavy rain since three days ago caused flooding in some parts of Gua Musang, forcing 129 people from 20 families to be evacuated to two relief centres (PPS) in the district as at 10 am today.
Spokesperson for the Gua Musang secretariat of the Kelantan Disaster Management Committee (JPBN), Mohd Yussalmi Mohd Yusoff said the two PPS were at Dewan Orang Ramai Chiku 7 and Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Limau Kasturi (1) which were activated at 9 am today.
"The PPS at Dewan Orang Ramai Chiku 7 accommodates a total of 102 people involving 16 families, while the PPS at SK Limau Kasturi (1) has four families involving 27 people," he said when contacted by Bernama, here, today.
He said more people are expected to be evacuated as the rain had not stopped.
