Flood: Negeri Sembilan back to normal, all relief centres closed

State Civil Defence Department director Kamal Mokhtar, in a statement, said all 615 remaining evacuees from 156 families at the relief centres had been allowed to return home after the flood water receded completely.

"It was made possible due to the good weather condition and declining water level at Sungai Kelamah river," he said.

The relief centre at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampong Ladang was the first to be closed at 8.30am, followed by other relief centres at Sekolah Kebangsaan (F) Sungai Kelamah; Sungai Dua Mosque; Parit Buloh community hall, Air Kuning; Sungai Kelamah community hall, and Kampung Ladang community hall in Gemas.

The three-day floods that hit the state following heavy downpours since last Saturday floods had affected 705 people from 173 families who were later evacuated to ten relief centres.
