Flood victims with a Proton, breathe a sigh of relief
Proton is taking another step to helping the flood victims by introducing their new assistant plan. By Jerrica Leong
Proton owners that are affected by the flood can now relax and take things one step at a time during the difficult period as Proton has announced a new assistant plan to help them following their Proton We-Care Prihatin Banjir programme.
Proton’s new assistance plan allows Proton owners affected by the huge flood a moratorium of up to six months on their monthly instalments and one-off waiver relating to late payment or penalty charges. This is in line with the recent announcements made by Bank Muamalat, AmBank and Maybank respectively.
Proton car owners who have a car loan are advised to contact their respective banks immediately as this would help lift one burden off their shoulders temporarily. They can focus on collecting funds for their rebuilding efforts in the post flood period.
