Various agencies including the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM), Fire and Rescue Department and the police are actively monitoring the flood-affected locations while the weather in most areas is good and the floods have receded.

However, Sungai Bidor which overflowed into Sungai Perak caused flash floods in Hilir Perak district from about 3 am today.

Some 50 houses are estimated to be affected and a PPS at Dewan Majlis Perbandaran Teluk Intan Langkap has been opened and the evacuation process is currently underway.
