Floods: Temporary relief centre in Rompin closed

The flood situation in Rompin is improving when one of the two temporary evacuation centres was closed at 10am today, said the Pahang Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM).
Its director, Zainal Yusoff said the Kampung Setajam Community Hall which accommodated 118 victims from 33 families was closed after all the victims were allowed to return to their respective homes.
"Only one temporary evacuation centre is still operating namely the Kampung Rekoh Community Hall involving 27 victims from six families," he said when contacted, here today.
