Non-Governmental Organisations and Non-Profit Organisations are usually considered noble organisations because their true intentions are not to make a profit.
And the first episode of the new season of In Focus couldn’t have been more of a testament to this than anything else.
OrphanCARE is an organization that helps to match unwanted babies with married couples who are willing to adopt them and be parents to them.
The best thing about this organisation is that the bulk of its workforce consists of dedicated and committed unpaid volunteers, with only a handful of paid staff.
However, even their paid staff are motivated by the fact that they hope the work they do can bring a difference to people.

Syarhah Mohamed Tahir - Project Admin, OrphanCARE
Tan Sri Faizah Mohd Tahir - Chairman, OrphanCARE
And if OphanCARE isn’t a name that is familiar to you, it is the organization that introduced the controversial ‘baby hatch’ in Malaysia.
The ‘baby hatch’ is literally a hatch which allows pregnant mothers who want to give up their babies anonymously but safely.
The main intention of the OrphanCARE’s ‘baby hatch’ is to avoid unwanted babied being dumped for dead by their mothers.
