A Facebook video showing controversial blogger Papa Gomo slapping, punching, and kicking a foreign worker has gone viral.
On the video's description, Papa Gomo or Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris said it was a reaction towards the foreign worker’s alleged sexual harassment against his two sisters and their two friends.
The video showed Papa Gomo asking his sister, who was not in the video, to identify the alleged culprit.
After identifying the man, Papa Gomo started to punch and slap the worker while reminding him to “respect Malaysian people”.
Papa Gomo also defended his actions, saying it was something that any brother would do for a sister and believed it was difficult to bring a foreign worker to justice when it comes to sexual harassment.
The video has since gained 1.3 million views, 52,000 likes and 28,000 shares.
Papa Gomo was detained under the Sedition Act last year relating to the Low Yat Plaza incident.
