Police are looking far a male foreigner who was attacked by blogger Papagomo, the four-minute video recording of which went viral on the social media recently, to assist in the investigation.
Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said nobody should take the law into their own hands.
"Not just foreigners, even animals cannot be beaten up like that.
"If it's true that the man in the video had sexually harassed his two younger sisters, Papagomo should lodge a report. We have laws in this country," he said, Monday.
Recently, the video recording which went viral on the social media, showed Papagomo slapping, punching and kicking a foreign man for allegedly sexually harassing his two sisters.
Earlier, Khalid closed the training-of-trainers course on the "Dangers of the Islamic State Militancy", which was attended by 50 people including academicians and government officers.
