Form 3 student dies after falling from school building in Putrajaya

A Form Three student of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Presint 9 (2) died after falling from the third floor of the school building, here.
In the 9.40am incident, the victim, Azim Hakimi Abu Shuja, 15, fell while trying to retrieve a friend's bag from the ledge outside the school window. Apparently the bag was thrown there by another friend.
But when Azim Hakimi was trying to reach for the bag, he lost his balance and fell.
The victim died on the spot.
His body was sent to Putrajaya Kuala Lumpur for post-mortem.
Putrajaya district police chief ACP Rosly Hassan when contacted, confirmed the incident. He said the case was classified as sudden death.
Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid expressed his condolence to the Azim Hakimi's family through a posting on his Facebook.
He said the Federal Territory Education Department and the police were still investigating to determine the actual cause of the incident.
Meanwhile, Bernama reported that according to the victim's mother, Zalina Kamis, 53, her son had been a little quiet lately.
She said Azim Hakimi was with his friends last night preparing for the PT3 oral test tomorrow.
"There was no drastic change, and this morning, as usual, he waved at me when I sent him to school," said Zalina when met at Putrajaya Hospital.
