He was diagnosed with chronic kidney problems and diabetes in January this year.
Former host and television personality Aziz Desa, 50, died today at 10.50am at his residence in Langkawi, Kedah.
His death was confirmed by his brother Azri Desa via a Facebook status.
Aziz whose real name is Abdul Azid gained popularity as a host of several talk shows like Malaysia Hari Ini (MHI).
He was diagnosed with chronic kidney problems and diabetes in January this year.
Aziz, a former host with Astro Oasis’s Zuriat Kita and Dahsyat 13 programme also ran his own businesses, Aziz Desa Holidays & Consultancy and Media Glokal Sendirian Berhad.
