Four key staff of MRT project resign
The Project Delivery Partner (PDP) for the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit for the Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line (SBK Line) has announced the resignation of four key staff who worked on the project.
MMC-Gamuda Bhd, in a statement today, said Project Director for PDP (SBK Line) Ian Thoms has decided that he will not seek an extension for his contract of service.
In addition, three senior personnel of PDP, namely Project Manager Ismail Hassan, Senior Resident Engineer of Supervision Consultant, AECOM, David Douglas, and Resident Engineer of Supervision Consultant, AECOM, Norrizan Ismail, have also resigned from their positions.
The resignations were conveyed to the project owner, MRT Corp, in a letter dated August 22.
The letter also stated that a proposed replacement for the Project Director post will be conveyed in due course, the statement said.
