Four men charged with robbing car park attendant

Four men pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here today to a charge of robbing a car park attendant of RM16,555 last Monday.

Chia Fong, 49, G.Jaspal Singh, 35, B.Sanjif Nair, 27, and H.S.Lakwir Singh, 30, are jointly charged with robbing Md Faizal Mohamad, 26, of the money in front of the Sri Petaling BHP petrol station, Brickfields here at 11.45am last Dec 24.

The offence carries a maximum imprisonment for 20 years, and is liable to whipping, if found guilty.

Judge Mohamad Sekeri Mamat allowed the accused bail of RM20,000 in one surety each and set Jan 31 for mention.

Prosecution was conducted by deputy public prosecutor Norasyikin Ahmad.
