Four Myanmar nationals face trial for murder of compatriot

Four Myanmar nationals had been brought to the Kulaijaya Magistrate Court for the murder of another Myanmar national who was dismembered into several parts last month.
They had been charged with the murder of the victim known as Kothet at an unnumbered house at Kampung Sri Paya in Kulaijaya between 9pm on July 29 and 11.20am on August 1.
The four suspects, Myo Mint, 28, Mohd.Hassan Ali, 29, Shaib Othman, 19 and Ismail, 30, did not confess to any of the charges.
Magistrate Ahmad Farid Kamal had set a retrial on September 24 after a translator has been chosen.
The case, handled by Deputy Plaintiff, Siti Asmah Zainal Abidin and the accused was not represented.
On August 1, the cops discovered a body of a Myanmar dismembered in a black garbage bag in a drain along the North-South Highway near Kulaijaya.
